Development and Marketing Manager, Back on My Feet Los Angeles
Lesley has served as the Development and Marketing Manager of the Greater Los Angeles chapter since April 2015. Lesley originally joined Back on My Feet as Program Coordinator during the Greater Los Angeles chapter's launch in October 2013, helping to grow the program's volunteer base and bolstering the community support for our five teams of Residential Members across LA County.
Lesley has been a runner since she joined Cross Country in High School. "I am excited about Back on My Feet because of its unique and sustainable approach to transforming the lives of others. I attribute a lot of my successes to lessons I've learned from being a dedicated runner, so I can't wait to support others in discovering what running can do for them."
A transplant from Maryland, Lesley moved to Los Angeles to serve as a Teach For America corps member prior to joining Back on My Feet. She has spent the past seven years working with children and their families in low-income communities to ensure they each have access to opportunity and success.

Member Services Coordinator, Back on My Feet Los Angeles
Illah joined Back on My Feet as a Volunteer in February 2015. In just a few months she became the Lead for Team US Vets in her hometown of Long Beach, bringing her smile and laughter to every early morning run. Although she is self admittedly not the fastest runner, she strives for constant improvement using running as a catalyst for growth in all areas of life. Illah believes that it is not merely the act of running itself, but the determination, discipline, and with Back on My Feet, the camaraderie, that allows for a redefinition of what we are capable of as runners, teammates, and as a community.
Illah is very excited to engage in this new role, supporting and continuing to grow Back on My Feet in our Greater Los Angeles community.
